I know and a good really as they have No Warranty... I found one other UK owner that had reported the same problem and a few in the US. So not many but all had the same symptoms.

What's the difference between an Ap1 and Ap2 exhaust other than 1 has oval pipes.

Neither have oval tips

The 'AP2' tips are larger, it has slightly different bends and larger diameter piping after the split into two.

Once CTL Performance have delivered my Q300 I'll be doing a full report on it, I've heard it's quiet when driving normally and loud when you go WOT vtec.

Although may not save you much weight...

Well the standard one is about 22kg.

And the Mugen appears to be about half of that, which makes the blueflame a bit on the heavy side.

If i'm changing it for weight (and I definately noticed the difference when I took the Mugen off my last car and put the OEM back on) I want to make sure it is a fair bit lighter.

So guess it's the Mugen.

I'd just like to see pics of the AP1 on an a MY04 before I decide which one!

Fujitsubo is actually very heavy according to this:

Polemicist has an 'AP1' on his 07, I'm sure he has posted pictures before.
