I have 18x8 with +48 offset for front, 18 x 9 with +50 offset for rear, and I went with 215/40 tyres on the front and 245/35 on the rear. Dropped on Eibach springs, no rubbing whatsoever.

Sorry but mine is my daily car and not a show\ weekend car. The ride quality would just kill my back! Getting old you know.

I had
J8 ET35 - Front
J9 ET38 - Rear
on 17" wheels.
245's on the front, and 275's on the rear.
Handled well and stuck to the road like poo on a blanket.
The tyres did stick out the arches though. I'd knock ~10mm off each (45 front, 48 rears).

Thanks guys, just waiting on prices for 17 and 18 but likely to go 17's for starters and see what it looks like with the kit. I don't want massive wheels, but don't want the wheels to look lost on a kitted car.
