Having just replaced my rears with S02s and having a set of new S02 fronts in stock it will be a while before I need to replace any tyres. In the meantime however it's good to hear people's views on the alternatives so that I can decide exactly what I'm going for when the time comes

Ive got to say since ive had the car this is the 2nd time ive replaced them having owned the S 2 years and a bit.

Regarding the rears (SO2's), they dont seem to have lasted long, this is either due to me going faster after people saying why do you always sit at 3000rpm!, but also due to my final drive installation.

I believe they have started to discontinue SO2's and replace with RE050's?.

I shall be going out in them tommorow, which should hopefully be dry i dont expect much difference in the dry.

I'd be interested in seeing how you get on in the dry as I'll be needing a new set of rears in the not too distant future and the RE50s will be what I go for.

Did you go for 225/50/16 on the back ?
