Updates on the parts you need (if you decide to go OEM)

#3 - 32204-S2A-010 SUB-WIRE, HARDTOP NOTE This has been superseded, and the new one they supply instead doesn't connect to #4 - 32205-S2A-H00 SUB CORD,RR DEF S - as there is no bullet connector. I have just been through the grief (shared with Si@hendy Performance - sorry Si) and the part that looks like the one in the pictures is actually 32204-S2A-H00. Obviously, it's the more expensive that the superseded part.

I am still not totally working, I still have to do some modifications to connect the wire from the HRW to the new cable and I do wonder whether it is worth the grief..... (and the cost)

Tools needed: Phillips/cross/pozidriv head screwdriver.

Parts needed:

All parts can be purchased from your local Honda dealer quoting the part numbers below, or a much better option would be to contact Si@Hendy Performance from this forum to get the best prices and a very quick turnaround time.

How-To: A really quick guide, I'm going to assume that the majority of you know how to wire up part #3 32204-S2A-010 from the above diagram(just remove side sill and rear interior side panel), nothing in difference with the plugs as they fit all existing interior loom, side catcher and hardtop wiring. Also I am assuming the hardtop earth is also connected.

First up, check the fuses are intact, the ones you need to check for are fuse #34 in the auxiliary fuse box, in the top left hand corner in the picture, listed on the lid as 'RR DEF' rated at 20A, the auxiliary fuse box can be found between the battery and inner wing, pop off the lid and make sure you have the fuse there, mine was already fitted(AFAIK, every S2000 has the fuse pre-fitted):

Next up is to plug in the demister/defogger relay(part #9 - 39794-S04-014). Located under the steering column, driver-side footwell you should see a relay and fuse box:

Plug in the relay in the spare relay slot:

Next, lift up the centre console, it's held in by clips, I found it comes out easiest if you lift the side nearest the storage compartment and work towards the gearstick side, pop out the blanking plate for the defogger/demister switch and put the switch in the hole, you'll notice the existing interior loom coming from under the gearstick, it has a spare green plug:

Connect wiring harness(part #4 - 32205-S2A-H00) as so:
[attachment=13616:IMG_18312.jpg][attachment=13614:IMG_1837.JPG][attachment=13619:IMG_1838.jpg]

Next up is to unscrew the storage compartment and rear panel screws, you do not need to remove the whole storage compartment, it will give you enough room by just lifting the whole unit, just remove the rear vented panels, again, held in by screws under the hooks and then just carefully unclip:
[attachment=13622:IMG_18412.jpg][attachment=13620:IMG_1842 copy.jpg][attachment=13621:IMG_18392.jpg][attachment=13642:IMG_18402.jpg]

After feeding the loom from the defogger switch under the storage compartment, connect the bullet connector from #4 - 32205-S2A-H00 to the bullet connector from #3 - 32204-S2A-010:
[attachment=13638:IMG_1844.jpg][attachment=13639:IMG_1845.jpg]

Almost there, just one more plug to connect, firstly, you need to locate this infamous plug, which a lot of people are not aware exists(I found mine taped to a part of the loom next to my petrol filler pipe as shown in pictures), this plugs into the remaining plug left on the defogger loom, it has to be fed through the space as shown in the photos:
[attachment=13640:IMG_18652.jpg][attachment=13703:IMG_1864.JPG][attachment=13702:IMG_1873.jpg]

Next just put everything back together and make sure all wires are tucked in nicely and not pushing up against the defogger and headwasher switches and you should end up with this:

I am aware I have slightly rushed this how-to but any further questions just reply to this topic or send me a pm.

Hope this helps at least one person as I found very limited information when searching for this specific information.

Carlip
hi just quick question about this, does this include the heated glass in the soft top? or is this only for the hardtop?
