For those of you who are going for the first time and are a bit worried about getting the lines right, I read in last month's Circuit Driver magazine that there are white circles painted on the track surface to mark the turn-in, apex and exit points for each corner.

I've been to the ring 5 times now and I've never noticed them, but apparently they are there and will give you a good starting point for the correct lines. (That's if you can spot them amongst all the graffiti).

I started seeing these dots 3 trips ago and once you start noticing them, you'll see them everywhere.

What is pretty cool, is that I noticed them just as I drove over them - meaning that the line i'd been taught/learned is pretty much spot on (bad pun).

Niiiiice

(I did try and point some of the dots out during various laps at Easter with other people, but I think 110% of their concentration was on the track itself, rather than 10cm blobs of paint. Isn't that right DWS2000? hehehe)

This is all useful information to know, I'm getting the impression that Karussell is ok as long as you don't go nuts.

Are the dots also on GT4? I haven't noticed before. Also how accurate is GT4? - I read that every part of the track is modelled to within 15mm, but I also read that some sections are completely different in length to real life.

You won't appreciate the changes in gradient on the game.

This pic shows the track going off in the distance...

I found that it is very close. Especially corner speeds and gears.

Having just come back from the ring, the only thing i think to watch out for suspension is that you can ground out the suspension before the grip lets go in the dry. And get the entry wrong and you'll scrape your nose :-(
