Default Question on Nuburgring

Quote from August 2005 issue of EVO: "...Remember whose car it is and that you may want to drive home in it - the Karussell is so rough that unless you take care, it can destroy your suspension and drivetrain."

I'm contemplating a trip to the 'ring for the first time, and therefore this statement concerns me. Has anyone here been there and could comment on driving this corner in an S2000? If true does this apply to mini-karusell as well? Is the solution to avoid the rough part altogether? - btw my experience so far has only been on the playstation.

Thanks, Chris

Thanks for the links and pics guys - doesn't look too bad in the video, I guess the idea is to avoid getting the tail out at all while on the rough stuff. Right, now to get back to training on GT4...

yep.. petrol head heaven..

Karussell is not the most difficult corner on the ring.. and in terms of rough ride..there are much worse roads

If you get the tail out on the Karussell then you will be into the armco.

It was fun getting very sideways as I exited it on one lap. (It was actually just after the pic was taken that I posted above).
