I've been mulling over getting a Rick's full height or 7/8 height aeroscreen - I asked Rick whether with the top up and the aeroscreen up is it possible to open the lid to the secret compartment.

His reply was: "...unfortunately access to this compartment is "limited".

Does this mean I can open the lid slightly? If so, by how much?

Any info gratefully received.

Ted

BTW I have '02 MY

With the full height screen you can only just lift the secret compartment and you can't really access it. When roof is up, you really need to push screen back to fully access. However, don't find this to get in the way and think the screens looks and benefits far outweigh this point.

Main thing for folks to consider when thinking about these screens is if you are OK to install the anti-vibration bumpers as these are glued onto the roll bars.

BigTed,

I have the 7/8ths screen and access to the 'secret compartment' is fine.

I just wondered how bad the oem screens are that everyone seems to have/want Rick's.

I'm not coming to the Sussex meet but, if the offer is still good, I'll wait for your pics when you have time Ian.

Thanks again.

It's not that they're bad, in fact you need the mechanism from the oem aeroscreen to fit Rick's screen to, but they're too small!
