A question about intake air temp sensor
When the IAT sensor detects that temperatures in the intake are really cold, does it tell the ECU to add more fuel/ make the mixture richer?

The reason for asking btw is that very shortly after starting the NOS when I open the nozzle the mixture gets very rich and given the air temps seem to go from 40 or 50 degrees down to about 8 I am wondering if that is why.

Depending on how Honda did it...
Coolant temperature, intake temperature can alter fueling depending if in wot or partial throttle.
But yes compensation tables will exist.
For example at particular load points, more fuel can be injected depending on intake temperature, if it was a real Red Hot day more fuel would be injected or rather compensated for and vice versa exactly what temps depends. So if you were bringing in hotter air you want more fuel to help with cooling thus richer mixture, so it's possible with a colder temp you'll reduce fuel thus leaner and more power.
However with these values, there are other look up tables which refer to these, which can alter timing etc, you will see now that you will quickly get into the realms of needing some form of ecu as your getting out of the scope of the stock ecu parameters. And you want a switch feed into to the ecu as a trigger to know when you were spraying to tune fueling etc properly.
With nos your putting more fuel in though, right? Thus alter ratio thus rich . Nos has excellent cooling properties.

I see.
But I appear to be seeing the mixture get richer as I dump the NOS in (And the temps drop rapidly).
The wet kit injects fuel and NOS however the ratios seem to be not what Trevor from WON was expecting.
Now I can lean out the ratio by adjusting the jets for NOS and Fuel into the injector on the kit but wanted to understand why the mixture wasn't what we expected it to be before we start messing around with it.
