I have some chavy boy racer mates that have bonnit lifters like this, looks ok on there saxos but not my cup of tea, bit chavy.
No idea what it would look like on a S, put a pic up if you do

Those chumps will be doing it for looks Sam more often than not, most people are on here are interested if its functional.
The IMO S does seem to suffer from a hot engine bay though.

The bottom of the window is a high pressure area.
The flow is actually into the engine bay when driving.
A low pressure area is usually at the front of the bonnet, which will pull air out the engine bay.
Hence why scoobies have vents at the front and scoops at the rear.

They did it for both, they are only saxos but what they done to them not slow, can keep up with the S, TBH they do say it does help, but they do it for looks aswel.
I know me and Rislar destroyed a similar one with those mods but his S was supercharged.

I took the rubber strip out of mine a couple of years ago. It seems to make a small difference.
I'm not liking the ghetto look of a spaced up bonnet.
The US FI guys seem to do it with good results.
I have no faux vents either, this should provide some more air flow and postive pressure to the engine bay (via the holes on the inner wing)

Isn't this why Mugen make CF vented bonnets?
I've done this on my EG, but that's because the engine bay is FULL of engine. It needs all the help it can get.
