I did exactly the same on my S2000.

Aggressive clutches really kill cars!

Oh well, despite me having the engine and gearbox out on the car, I haven't changed the clutch so it was obviously left out! I owe thanks to uncle Ray for putting up with my impatience removing the broken driveshaft piece and keeping a roof over the car's head!

I wouldn't mind, but I was doing approximately 15mph when it broke, but it was a good place to happen!

Chippo, I had a look for discolouration but I think it's the photo because there doesn't appear to be any. However, £450 for forged shafts that have done 50 miles of road driving in a light car can't be right....

Yeah, they'll be going back. Like I said the crap ford ones that these were meant to be twice as strong as did way more miles and even track days.

Has any of the other mechanics on here noticed how customers/friends cars are getting more and more unkempt, we had blue monster turn up to meet after Christmas in what we thought was a black car only to be told it was actually blue

after much discussion among the local garage's we have come up with the idea to shame them, we have decided to wash half of the car in the hope it will shame them into washing the other half, after missing the chance to do Matins car as he was watching us to closely this weekend the perfect example arrived so the quest begins, wait till he comes to pick it up

now I wonder who's this could be

it may go round in circle's though with less drag on the N/S

Haha Ray, you'll have to watch out now Ron with one side being more aerodynamic. You will have one side wanting to go faster than the other!

Looks like you've found a way to diversify your business... dry storage and a half wash.

This month's (April issue) of Complete Kit Car looks interesting - there's a review of a Westfield with an F20C.

Ray, that's so funny, I didn't know that Ron had a red car

That meet just before Christmas was the dirtiest my car has been in years

We need some good weather so I can spend the whole weekend cleaning the beast

Oh dear.... Well, in the near two years I have had the car, the body has been washed....once! Looks really good actually, although it is ultimately going to need a new tub thanks to the Anglesey incident.

I have been in contact with the company that made the shafts and they are taking them back to perform analysis.

Dan the Mega S2000 has been doing tours of the Westfield clubs. Westfield want £14k for the kit without running gear or IVA. We'll see what my impatience brings, but you'd be looking at £25k to rival what I have already.
