Thumbs up Primary Heated Oxygen Sensor

G'day All,

As the question states above where do I find, the below on the car?

P0132 Primary Heated Oxygen Sensor (Primary HO2S) (Sensor 1) Circuit High Voltage

You guessed it, car is throwing cell light up and, scan gauge is displaying, code PO132, even when reset it throws it back up after a couple of minutes.

So anyone got a picture of where this sensor is, please.

Cheers
Kiwi

Thankyou peeps.

I think I'll jack it up and check it, and then take it for a very hot run.

I wonder if it's just got upset because it has been stored for two months and just needs a good thrash??

You gotta love this car, it is more temperamental than a woman

Exactly that mate. The other P0118 overload would have been caused by this as I had to sort out an identical error on an EK Civic the other week. This was caused by the O2 sensor semi unplugging itself due to vibration.

I wouldn't say it's exacty that - it could be a few things, but most likely it will need replacing. Check the wiring too, that can give a high voltage.

had the same ecl when i swapped to a wideband. Took a pair of resistors and a bit of gaffa to resolve.

Swap the o2 sensor in the header.
