One of my toys, like StevenM I have some of the two wheeled variety, which usually cover about 20-30,000 miles per year.
In an pathetic attempt to justify another fast toy, I told my wife the S2000 would be a fun car that we could both drive, on sunny days etc, now the children are more independent. So I px'd the Jag (Old mans image, but dead comfy), and persuaded my wife to buy a new Civic ( cos that would be our main family car wouldn't it) Great, also as we could negotiate a keen deal with the local Honda dealership on two cars
However, since acquiring the S in October have covered about 8000 miles, and not been near the Bikes. (and no I'm not afraid to ride in a bit of snow/rain or frost)
So it's very much used as my primary transport, although not brought with that intention.
(StevenM - I also have a new one on order, a R1150GS which should be delivered to the UK on 31 Jan) Summer will be full of dilemmas

[B]This is by far and away the best car I've ever owned. It isn't a mode of transport to me, it's thrilling entertainment every time I ride in it. Sheer adrenalin rush. That's why it isn't just my primary car, it's my only car! Why would I want to drive anything else?

I decided some time back that I would get rid of both the bikes and get something in-between that I could use for both weekend fun and a daily comute into the City.
The SV was nice but a bit slow on the A1M bit and the 748 was too noisy and uncomfortable. Last October a blue van took out the SV and I am now awaiting a settlement from their insurance.
(If I have to work weekends I sometimes use the S2000)

ONLY CAR
What's the point in having a car like this if you are only going to drive it a few thousand miles a year and keep it in the garage - unless you're just interested in selling it again?!!!
Ditch the shopping or commuting mobile, buy a hard-top and let it be a S2000 summer every day!!!

It'll be my "main" car on the insurance but will proably drive it 50/50 with the Fiesta, especially when parking anywhere potentially hostile (the cinema, pub car parks etc). I suggested that we use my girlfriend's Civic for such purposes but got a slap
Reasons for the Fiesta are economy and winter suitability. It'll make me appreciate the S even more
