Nice.
The only complaint with the look of new civic, that I think a lot agree with, is the rather naff plasticy petrol cover.
They tried to make it look all sporty, a bit like the MGTF, but I don't think they quite made it.
Saw the ad last night.
Honda continuing their record of making the BEST adverts around.

I test drove the Deisel 2.2 last week. It was very impressive
The handling was firm but enough give to make it comfortable. the Diesel is a great engine, it certainly doesn't hang about
The cockpit style display is very good too.
It was a good afternnon out.
I turned up at the dealers with my S to get the roof seals looked at, the service manager had the 2.2 diesel in black as a test car. he basically handed over the keys and told me and the Mrs to take it for a drive and tell him what we thought
We drove it to Lenzie and back it was great fun and Top marks to Hyndland City.
I'm seriously considering chopping in the CTR for one

The diesel felt much heavier and more solid (and therefore Donna felt safer) but more powerful. A lot more torque obviously.
The petrol was lighter, and therefore nippier, and while there was not as much torque it was much higher reving and still pretty quick.
Ultimately the fact that the diesel was nearly 2 grand more was the reason we went for the petrol. We wont be doing enough miles in it to justify the diesel.

We got, what I consider to be a good deal but I can't remember what the exact figures/discount was.
All we really wanted was to swap the cars over and not pay any more a month for the finance, which they did plus add on a few extras free like 17" wheels.
(Considering the CTR is only a year old and heavily financed, I think we did ok.)
But this is the fourth new honda we've brought from this dealership in the last four years so I expected them to bend over backwards.
