It's very good paint that dries like ceramic, you can only get it from Frosts.... It's good stuff but quite expensive

I did my civic arms in hammerite. The good thing about hammerite is that it has a bit of flex so it doesn't chip easily, unlike powder coat

I'm not that impressed with hammerite. I did mine about 3 years ago and they don't look the best now.

My hammerited items look crap now. I didn't really put a lot of prep into them though.

Balljoint blew up into my face. Another inch lower and i'd have been dead before I hit the floor

Hammerite worked well for me because I had the arms sandblasted. This give a nice texture to the aprts that allows paint to really cling to the arm.

HOLY SHIT!! That's that then. A hole in someones head gives some clarity to thoughts don't ya think? Glad you're ok, that looks really nasty. When they get back from bead blasting (should be tomorrow), I think I'll give them a coat of etching primer then start with the hammerite.
