Just servicing the brakes for the MOT, bought new rear Tyres last year for the MOT,
Looked at the rear tyres, they are nearly down to the wear indicator,
I rearly drive like an idiot, and regularly tootle, and never abuse the S.
For the tyres to wear so fast only on average milage, I must admit i thought the tyres would last 1.1/2 to 2 years, but i suppose the LSD is harsh on tyres

how many miles have you done, is your geo setup good if so is it set aggressively ... do you do motoroway miles, or a b roads, track days, drift days, lots of things are going to affect yours and everyone else's tyre wear ... so in answer to your question, how long do they last, well in your case ... that long!

I get about 6k or 6months out of the rears when I had Bridgies. I've just checked my Goodyears and they're down to 3mm after what I would guess is about 4-5k (I forgot to note the mileage). Fronts last about twice as long as rears.

Tyres dont last for a set amount of time!!! They wear according to how you drive, the type of journeys you do, the traffic you drive in etc..

If you've done 2000 miles in a year then not great, if you've done 20,000 then you've done very well.....

Hmmm, can anyone tell which are best for longetivity i tend to only get 6month out of bridgestones.

My first set of RE050's lasted about 15,000 miles. I give it plenty of vtec but also do a fair bit of motorway driving but no track days (yet ). Currently on the second set and have done 26,000 miles with about another 5,000 miles of wear left, so 15k a set of rears looks about on target for me.

Not had to change the fronts yet, but judging by the tread that's left I reccon I will have to get all 4 done at the same time.

All depends on your driving style and whether you do many motorway miles. I don't think there's any 'expected' life.

I used to think i was cool when i got 21k out of some pirellis on my old modified yaris st sport .

Do you get yours from dentons/denons in carlisle? - by far the cheapest.

I melted the first set of Potenzas I had on the Teg very quickly...

But the Teg did used to munch tyres, particularly the fronts. I found that Firestones lasted a lot longer, but were nowhere near as good.
