Check the for sale board on here. Always bargains to be had at this time of year, and buying from an enthusiast is nearly always better than giving a dealer £000s for doing very little

as far as my knowledge of import cars (in gerneral) goes the engines are exactly the same - the higher performance figures are based on the car using 99ron fuel.

Well I've found another car;

http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/2149031.htm

Looks to me it's an import, although that's not declared as such. The mileage does look temptingly low mind, although that's nothing without a service history.

I think the only things I would do would be to replace the door cards with UK spec ones, leather the transmission tunnel, and get the fabric parts of the seats re-trimmed. That cloth does nothing for me!

Question about the seat bolsters, do these tend to go quite quickly? Want to use them as a reference to the use of the vehicle.

the parts are the same, even whole engines.
you clearly dont know anything about s2000 engines then as the jdm import s2000 f20 has a different compression ratio due to different pistons. hence why they have more power.

I was talking about replacement parts, and you can replace a JDM engine with a UK engine.

And no, I don't know anything about engines. I thought it was the head that was different, or possibly even just the head gasket?
