Yes. They're mapped for 250PS because of the higher octane in the fuel in Japan.

Do JDM cars also not have a glass rear screen until 2002.

Saw a s2k with a in built DVD and navigation system was that a Honda UK option as it was advertised as a JDM car.

HID's are they standard on every year?

Other Differences between UK and JDM are:

No front light washers, instead you get this lovely little compartment on the centre console which is perfect for putting loose change in and never able to get the bloody coins out.
JDM's require you to put the clutch down before starting the engine.
Different Stereo
limited to 112MPH (But can de-restricted)

Other than that you wont notice any differences.

It was me that posted the JDM's are up to 10BHP faster, one other reason is down to the head gaskget being thinner. They have 100RON petrol in Japan, the closest we have is Tescos 99RON.

DVD/sat nav is a JDM option and will not work in the UK.
