Default Possible new owner?

Hello there

First post an all but considering changing my S3 for an S2000. Miss driving with the roof down that i used to do in my boxster S and want that again. So.... what is the S2K like to use every day? How much will a dealer charge to service it? If i go for grey and red, whats the name of the grey paint and how much of the interior is red? Just seats or is it everything?

Cheers

Dave

I use the S every day - done 57k in it since Oct 02 and it is great

Grey??? You mean either Silverstone or Moonrock - The latter is a new 04 colour. You can have either half red (seats and carpet - and I think a bit on the door in the 04 and in 00, but not in 01, 02 ?) or Full red, which is everything.

Have a hunt around and you'll see a lot of info and pics

Dave,

First of all, good choice of car, bad choice of colour There are two greys, dull (silverstone), and battleship (moonrock). They are the slowest colours for beginner drivers

With Silverstone, Moonrock or Black you have the option of full red - everything including dash, doors and roll over hoops. Or Half red - red carpets, door inserts and seats and everything else black.

If you're going to buy an S2000 it may be worth having a read of the tech faq in my sig.

OR ..... You can opt for a Nurburgring Blue which is unique (much faster than Silver , blue leather, blue soft top, and did i mention fast too ?)

Heatsuit ready for some !!!

Full red is the only way to go on a proper sports car . It's supposed to be extravagant

Here's a pic of mine. Enjoy

Colour's not important Dave - keep the exhaust tips shiny 'cos this is all other folk will see.

But, if you have to have a colour on your metal, I think you're spot on with Silverstone and red interior!
