I've ordered pint and 'R1 Remover' from the guy on ebay. He said this was similar to Dr. Colorchip.........
I've also looked at the Dr Colorchip - seems good but I'm reluctant to pay $50 shipping for two small bottles!
Be nice to be englightened

Tried to answer this earlier, but there's no sign of my post, so if there's a post on another thread that makes no sense, you know who to blame......
Anyway, a "pint" is how a self-confessed ham-fisted oaf types paint.
The seller told me the R1 is for removing badly applied old touch up paint and over spills, so I guess it should be OK for any touch up paint manufacturer's product, but please don't rely on me.
Reading Dr Colour chip's website, it looks like their paint is a 'softer' formulation. It looks like the better product for people like me with limited ability, but I'm too tight to pay the shipping.
I haven't had chance to experiment with the ebay gear, but I'll post results when I do...........

Had a quick play with the paint and R1 Remover today.
I used the remover to get rid of a rough bit of old touch paint and it worked fine. At the risk of stating the obvious, the paint is just ordinary touch up paint, so no reason to complain, but it's not a 'smart solution' like Dr Colorchip claims to be.
I think Dr Colorchip would be a lot less time consuming and frustrating for a dose of road rash, but the R1 remover is useful to have around.
If there's any traders reading, we need a Dr Colorchip franchise in the UK........

I have used it and it is seems to be slightly thinner touch up paint.
Problem being you can end up cleaning it all out of the scratch you are working on
I'm going to buy some R1 and touch up for the subaru.
I'll try the R1 with the Honda touch up as well.

Yep, I know not to get taken in by the miracle cure claims. That said, I've just ordered some Langka blob remover as it sounds ideal for my combination of needs and 'talent'.
Just need to make sure I don't spend more on these bits and bobs than it would cost to get a pro on the job..............
