I have a racelogic TC unit on mine and if you set it to min slip and gun it out of a corner in the wet it pops, bangs and flashes the odd spit of flame as it cuts the spark to prevent wheel slip, not the injectors.

It's a nice sound though, nowhere near as annoying as those Clio's in the vid.

This the sort of noise I'd like. Nothing brash just a bit 'fruity' (matron)

I do like that... I once followed a VX220 that made some very nice noises like that!

I was always under the impression a nice burble would result from decatting? no?

Certainly don't get it with my Garage R decat, although it does have other benefits such as marginally improved throttle response, an arguable amount of extra power and a very addictive turbo-like whoosh as the exhaust gas pressure builds and rushes out the back.

Some have reported that their decats have given them pops and bangs though.

I miss the superb pop's and backfires from my Astra coupe Turbo... Wish I could apply the same to the S2000!

Nighttime thrash with flames 30 seconds til 40ish seconds and then 3 mins onwards for some glorious pops and flames

Daytime thrash 2.14 onwards for a minute or so and then 4.40 onwards for a massive black sooty backfire

I know it isn't what your looking for, as its a bit much but I'm considering a Bee*r rev limiter, but you would need a de-cat unless you want to watch you cat going for a burton out the back of the exhaust!

gosh that mini sounds breathless..

it's making that noise by "dragging" the throttle as the revs drop (ie not quite lifting off fully).

I could do that with my Amuse exhaust (the mini sound) and Greddy ECU and remap. But then, there was not much to that Amuse exhaust after I had played about with it as there was no midbox and just the rear cans as silencers.

MBs ASM exhaust which is on the car now doesn't pop and bang...yet. Might do tomorrow after the remap!

How about seriously clogging up your air filter with grime for that sound and ignore performance and fuel economy. lolz
