I know my local dealer lurks around reading the posts but I tend to feel they read to see if anyone is moaning about them...
I constantly moan about lounge big fat lazy Les but he's still there as far as I'm aware.. maybe its just him who reads it and not his boss!

Don't use Lenton Lane anymore mind. The issue of crap dealers will result in me leaving Honda behind when I change my car, I'm pretty sure of that.

Welcome to the board, good of you to announce yourself and pleased that you are an enthusiast of the S. My dealer, whilst pretty good, doesn't seem to share the passion I have for the car.

Well done on sticking your head above the parapet, Matt! I knew quite a few staff from various dealerships read the board and lurk but very few make themselves known (for obvious reasons, I suppose).

But it seems to me that having a DP who is an obvious enthusiast and is in a position to address customer concerns can only result in more business for you. Witness the increase in the reputation and amount of business for Southern Honda after its (now former) Commercial Director popped up on here.

Welcome

Hi Matt I'm a Londoner, and potential customer I actually drive past your dealership on my way to Chiswick. The main reason I choose to go there is due to some favourable comments about them (although a few people also dislike them, a lot) and there was only one comment for Wandsworth and it wasn't too nice. There are other dealers much closer, Catford for one but they are small and I imagine don't do a lot of S's, so I'm not confident in taking the car there.

All I want is for the car to be looked after and all work done properly, which I suppose is what everyone wants, along with a good price

I use their branch at the end of my road in Mapperley. They're OK tbh, the main advantage is no Les, thats worth its weight in gold cos he can talk the hind legs off a donkey and he used to bore me half to death with all his patter. A right workshy feck as well.

The bloke on the desk their knows one or two things about the S, recalls and such like which is probably as much as you can expect, its not like they get a lot in there though.....

need to get some bodywork done soon.. someone here said some scooby specialists in Chesterfield were good.
