Polishing *Inside* rear plastic screen
I've got the 'banding' where the window folds, on the inside... is it a case of straddling the centre console & getting to work... or is there another particular technique?
Oh, & does the wind deflector come off - if so, how?

There should be two plastic caps on the base of the wind deflector which can be removed to reveal a screw in each. Just undo each screw and away you go. I removed the plastic caps by gently lifting a side at a time with a kitchen knife, being careful not to damage the plastic surround. The screws you'll reveal tighten into a would of nuts embedded in the lid of the 'secret compartment'.
Can't help you with the screen though, as mine's glass - sorry

Folding down should be sufficient to get enough access.
Then use the bmw cream cleaner and it's does a top job. Avoid getting it on the hood itself!
All it will cost is some elbow grease and about

worked a treat on mine, does need redoing though. Would also recommend some carpet where the roof folds down in to, to help protect the plastic from scratching.
