I do think people are missing the point of the thread.
Perhaps that is down to the first post in it?

You state that in the Traders section "~50% of the stuff they are offering is absolute b0ll0cks"

I'd like you to justify that statement and show specific examples posted in that forum. I bet you can't. When you fail to do so it'll show what the "absolute b0ll0cks" really is

People on this forum really are too sensitive!
He's alleging that 50% of the stuff Traders are selling here is "absolute bollocks".

That may well be an opinion, but in itself is bollocks, as proven by the lack of factual response to my post, quoted above.

Opinions are like arseholes - everyone has one. Just a pity that some are full of shit

I did acually have a post lined up, but I deleted it.

Yes, 50% was an exaggerated number, however the rest of my point was valid.

Ron, in one sentence you've invalidated your whole post.

I assume from your last statement that you're retracting your allegation that, on the Traders section "~50% of the stuff they are offering is absolute b0ll0cks"?

Thanks

If you can define approximately, then yes.

Seem's like you have trouble understanding the definition

It's just healthy debate fella.

Ultra-Nexus posted his opinion and others are either supporting or offering counter opinion. It's all well meant, not insulting and everyone is taking it in the spirit it's intended as far as I can see.

It's all good.

I had a chat with my mate who also read the thread.

His view was interesting.

Apparently I have come across as saying 'If a part doesn't make you go faster, it is thus pointless'

I disagreed with him on this, but it is something I must take action on.

I am on about parts that claim to do something to your car, but don't.

Certain braces, spoon thermostat, polyeurethane compliance bushes, Hamp oil filters, Corbeau seat that won't fit, Spoon coolant.

Most other sales are for oil.

From then on we have the performance parts that are aesthetic only (Diffuser, braided brake lines, J's Racing Rad cap)

We also have genuine items that will work. I really like the Hardrace stuff (booted spherical bearing toe arms especially), but it is overpriced IMHO (Different subject altogether!) and Rubber compliance bushes.

Can't much argue there Ron and makes more sense.

Ps I always applaud your ability to have a debate without taking it personal
