Rahula,

Just for your info:

Boxster and 911 sales are bombing at present, for the period Aug-Nov, boxster sales are down 38% from 2002 levels. There is a new Boxster due by the very end of this year, and these figures will only help it come sooner.

I was at the Swindon dealer yesterday and they were selling a brand new Boxster S for just below list (for definite judging by the spec of it).

So just to try and help you save a few

Simon

Thanks for that info. I was a bit sceptical of ordering a new car when the new model is imminent and I have been offered

The new one won't be that different.

Rumour has it it will be the same car underneath with a new interior and bumpers, waste of time if it is.

Error on the stats? don't think so, they are not selling the cars, worldwide, period. Only the Cayenne is doing well....

sorry my mistake, I read bombing as booming and then a decline in figures! I am such an idiot sometimes.

I think the new car will be more than a facelift. The last facelift was meant to be an interim measure and I am confident this will be much more.
