Plastic window creasing vertically
Recently my plastic window has started creasing vertically so i have to get out and give it a "boxster chop" so that it doesn't get pinched the wrong way and potentially split.
I have always previously just been able to lower it normally before. ..really annoying in slow traffic when the sun comes out after the rain.
any ideas why this might have started?
cheers

You want to treat it before it becomes a crack.
BMW cream cleaner (see faq) is good for a) keeping the screen clear and b) keeping it supple and soft.
Only lower the roof when "warm" too.

ahh - i thought the elastic straps might have something to do with it.. is this the symptom of the elastic weakening?
I think i might try using bull dog clips or something to take the slack out and put extra tension in them to see if it helps.. then it's elastic replacement time - whoopee
