Default Plastic Rear Screen

Is it possible to remove the scratches in the rear screen?

Going to LeMans in a couple of days and it's quite hard to see out of!

apparently BMW do a plastic cleaning solution for the Z4 plastic screens and it's meant to be very good.

20 seconds with a sharp Stanley knife and you'll have a clear view.

BMW stuff is the way ahead. Might be worth putting a 'wanted' thread up to see if anyone has any lying around as AFAIK BMW have discontinued it.

I tried correcting the swirls with a light compound... ended in me heating the plastic up and the comound leaving a circular mark in the plastic.
TBH the plastic is a POS ..... when you need a new roof just get the glass replacement!

I used to have some stuff for my old car which did a fantastic job.

Got rid of the minor scratches and completely removed any milky stains from the plastic. I think it also conditions the plastic too as it felt lovely and soft afterwards rather than that slightly hard feeling it gets after a few years in the sun.

Nice and easy to use too!

That's what i use too. It didn't clear all the marks, but it did make a noticeable difference.
