Default Pioneer problem?

got a pioneer deh-p4800mp from fleabay with the ipod kit, and have just put a cd in the drive, lots of whirring and no cd selected or showing in the drive...? any ideas? no way of ejecting it either? wondered if anyone knew of an emergency reset or cd realease thing for this headunit? nothing in the instructions.

No proof of purchase from the original seller included either so not a valid warranty either now?!

any help appreciated...thanks

Some CD drives have a small hole on the front of them where you can push a thin rod (straightened paperclip will do) in to eject the CD. Although I'm not quite sure if this will work on a slot-in type player.

Try feeding it another CD, this may induce it to spit out the one it has in it allready.

If that doesnt work you could try this;
