i would like to prime using the oil pump by removing the fuel pump fuse and turning the car over for a few seconds before replacing the fuse and starting. So togive the engine some oil before it actually fires.

Problem is, I don't know where the fuel pump fuse is!? Could some kind soul take a pic pointing it out and post it on here or send it to my mob if that's any easier I'll give you my number.

thank you!!!

A few of us got owners manuals with our cars.

My '06 manual says it's in the interior fuse box at #12. 15 amps. Same place in 2001 so I suspect it's there in all cars.

Just unplug the crank sensor, the plug is at the top of the engine by the front of the manifold.

Ditto

Surely any "wear" comes from the "dry" Pistons irrespective of whether the engine is turning over or running?
