Windows Media player doesnt support it - theres a way to convert them but blah.... I'm getting Quicktime now

RealPlayer's also an option Ian if QT doesn't work.

QT will not support it. It will play the files but with problems. I know most are using WMP 9 but click on help and then updates. You might have to download it directly from Windows website link as below:

QT didnt work, yet it is supposed to play mp4 Real player wont play it either for me. I guess i need codecs, but dunno what or where

WMP will display a dialog box which says that it doesn't support the file but can try to play it. It says you should be careful that you are confident of the files you open. CLICK YES! Thats it and it will play them no problem.
