I'd try Displex.
Works on light scratches, but if you can feel them with a fingernail it probably won't work.

This stuff looks good-Novus-comes in a three stage kit or each stage is sold individually. They recommend using microfibre cloth.

Novus plastic polish three stage kit

3M also do a two stage polish ( 3M Plastic Polish 390103M + Plastic Cleaner PN 39017. )as do Meguiars (Meguiars #10 Clear Plastic Polish + Meguiars Mirrorglaze #17 Clear Plastic Cleaner)

I imagine it would be possible to source either of these in UK.

Plexus is raved about in the States, not sure if you can get it here. At one time it was available from Lakeland Plastics.

I have just discovered Plexus (used on Stealth bombers no less!) and Meguires is available here in UK-
