The DVLA take a while to do it, it's not a couple of hours. I think it was 6 days for mine to get the V5, MOT and tax disc, and I went into the DVLA office to do it. Also, it is more than

Ahh, mine went on retention, as the owner sold it on seperately. Maybe they've changed the time to do it since I did mine (2 years ago).
