Your first tomorrow!

So what sort of year has it been?

Downside:
Pressure switch for ultrasonics b******d by hardtop. Fixed with screwdriver; works fine thanks to Cedric's input.
Can only lock passenger door from inside. So...
Remote audio controls don't work xcpt the mute. Took me 10 months to discover that (my audio is the engine) - so no great problem. Fix on next oil change. Dealer thinks xchgng head unit will do it.

Ummm..think that's it!

In between:
First drive home in the slicing rain from the dealer - buttocks clenched - mind full of all the stories I had read on this board.

Then it didn't seem to stop raining for months and it was not until

Upside:
SM1 - with those empty Welsh roads and the fantastic weather Pete conjured up - that I began to realise what the S could do. Slow learner.
The 50 mile drive I was taking in the summer when going to pick the eggs up from the farm half a mile away.
Beautiful empty roads in N Devon and Cornwall in late October with nary a camera or police car in sight.
The fact I still get a lift every time I climb in and switch on.
The little heart-warming that goes on when you walk towards it in a car park.
Twin nature of the car - VTEC and non-VTEC - you can burble along quite quietly (don't have HKS) - then drop a couple of gears and
That beautiful gearshift.
No problems with the dealer.

So thank you S - happy birthday.
I could have bought a Boxster - but I doubt it would have given me any more pleasure.

PS - sorry if this is boring - but I did say it was a personal message to my S.

EDIT:
Oh and thanks to the board for all the help and information both before and after purchase

Happy Christmas

You should spend more time driving her and less time polishing her, N4S!

Thanks for that Mark! You sound just like my mates! But I am so damn addicted to that Zaino stuff!

Plus I'm waiting on getting the AIE - once I install that and the front grill - I'll be all set!!!

Oh and I never drive my babe in the wet!!!! I love her too much
