It isn't a bad magazine, hopefully it'll proove itself to be a worthy successor to Evo, now that they seem to only have ideas on grandeur.

The is also a report on the 2008 S2000 in Performance Tuner this month, written by their editor Matt Robinson, who is a member on here.

Take your point about evo, i'm a subscriber and have always found them fairly down to earth and give good accounts of the cars they drive and the photography is sometimes amazing with none of the crap pictures that Top Gear have in their magazine. But the trend is towards more and more powerful cars although i guess thats how the performance car world is going with Mercs and BM's now pushing out 500+ BHP. And i still dont know why evo aren't a bigger fan of the S. I couldnt imagine a car that defines the thrill of driving more!! Biased opinion of course!!

I stopped subscribing to Evo when they did that 'Shell' issue a while back.

I don't suppose it has got any better.

No point;

The S2000 is a car one really has to drive accurately - far easier to have a turbo 4x4 do it all for you if you're not that good.

At least they did admit they chose the location and conditions to give the Scooby the best chance possible!

I thought it was a really pedestrian article on the S. Lot of cliche's from someone who drove it only briefly.

...and to be honest, evo HAVE got reason to have a bit of an ego...their writing is better than the competition, as is their photography. Shame, as the new PC is pitched in exactly the right place...will keep picking it up, though won't be quite so keen to buy until the quality improves...
