Perculiar Squeeeeeeeking noise
My 00MY S has a perculiar squeeking noise.
I can hear it boucing of buildings as I drive past. I occurs on moderate throttle applications (yes, I know) and lasts for a varying length of time. I doesn't occur on heavy throttle applications (i.e. most of the time) and at high engine speeds.
That evidence leads me to something emissions based - like perhaps the secondary air injection system - but does the S have one?
Anyone any ideas?

Sorry, what's a CAI?
The car's completely standard. I've had it a week and it was the cherished toy of a middle aged lady before me. (Shame she didn't complain about the clutch tho'). I'm just going through the perculiarities at the moment trying to get it they way I want it. I'm used to doing that on sub

I get this..its at 3krevs..ignore it...its normal.
I did worry initially until I got a Honda engineer to come out with me for a quick spin at a service...he said it was quite normal. It is more prominent at 3k with a PRM CAI which I have but just ignore it....its normal.
It is a tell-tale sign of you not ragging tha arse of the car where such noises disappear
