I must confess that i did have a ding in my Landy last week, in a car park.

Reversing out of a narrow space and turning right, I was engrossed with looking out for the fat pleb family unloading their trolley in the middle of the aisle. I hence completely failed to take notice of the front left corner of the vehicle, which resulted in it scraping along the rear wing of the clio on my left. Damage: 18" long dent and some paint removed; plastic trim dislodged. Cost to repair (wet finger in air estimate)

Spending more than average on a car does not entitle you to special treatment.
Yep, it's about respecting other people's property, not it's value.

We all have a right to as much free space as the next person.

We don't have a right to more free space than another person and any such use of more space is selfish.

free spaces are clearly defined in a car park. It is therefore blindingly obvious when someone is being selfish.

Expect the worse if you park over 2 spaces.

It's your decision to spend that much on a car though, and accept the risk that comes with it. It doesn't give you the right to inconvenience others by taking up more space than you need.

Spending more than average on a car does not entitle you to special treatment.
your right it doesn't but when you have to work your BUT off to get the good things in life, you don't wanna have other D**ks ruin it for you. and like I say....I have had old runabout bangers before and still did the same, its called 'looking after your belongings!' Pride....springs to mind!

It's definitely annoying when you park miles away from anyone, then you get back to your car and somebody has decided to park right next to you.

That and parking too close to get in your car......This happened to me in Tesco's once. Couldn't get in my car either side, had to wait for the owners to come back, ready to give them a piece of my mind but it was an old lady......amazingly there was a dent on my car though!

I think the special treatment statement is a bit far!.....
I never said that....ok let me break it down to my SELFISH point.....I spent most of my life's savings on a car that I really wanted and I want to look after it!....so I park across two spaces so my pride and joy doesn't get ruined and I end up moaning and spending more getting it repaired...
thats just me....and YES I'm selfish......SHOOT ME!!!

I personally dont agree with parking over 2 spaces, defeats the point of having marked parking bays/areas.

And I do think what a pr!ck when I see that especially when car park is full to the brim!

What also annoys me is when there is an available space, the pleb on one side decides to park on the piss over the line therefore rendering that parking space unuseable because the front end of the car sits over the line narrowing the gap
