PCV Valve (99-03)
#24
A Supra runs around 300bhp standard and circa 400bhp as the standard upgrade with no problems. A boosted S2000 generally manages 320+bhp so i guess it was easy to decide on a part from a Supra (whose engine was over designed so helps it be easily upgraded).

Has anyone managed to find a good uk based supplier for PCV's suitable for Turbo applications? I am intrigued why the Supra one is such a popular choice, why wouldn't the PCV from any reasonable turbo car other than say VAG (they use huge!) work?
My car is running 15PSI and i am not convinced the standard PCV is doing its job.

Run a catch can, my car is boosted so lot more susceptible to bypassing the stock PCV valve, problem is if you bypass the stock PCV it will allow boost into the crankcase and put more pressure on the pistons on the upstroke which is not good and will reduce power somewhat.
The whole emissions and re-circ system on my car has been bypassed, that is all pipes to and from intake tract and from intake manifold into the cam case - the benefits are cleaner intake manifold/TB and map sensor - power will be negligible on NA.
