There's a little drain valve in the bottom of the separator bowl, looks a bit like a tyre valve core arrangement

I thought you could just clean out the valve with carb cleaner? That's what I've been doing with mine as it was all clogged up when I bought it and oil consumption wasn't great

I bought a new PCV recently on ebay: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/311326898884
Very cheap but it took around a week to 10 days to arrive - seems to be spot on.

Although, I may also look into getting that water/oil seperator that Rob mentioned.

Before you buy a new one spray some carb or brake cleaner in it let it soak and shake.

If it doesn't rattle at the moment its probably just clogged.

I actually cleaned mine yesterday in the end - but strangely didn't actually need to! It was still rattling even after 135k!
I couldn't get the hose off, so just squirted the cleaner into the valve and down the line - Probably cleaned any crap in the line too. Also cleaned the IAC whilst I was at it (that was also pretty clean too) as I hadn't cleaned that for about 4 years, and car does seem to be running a little smoother,. After a 100 or so mile journey, soot on the tips seemed to be reduced slightly, but it's early days. Could all be placebo but guess it's worth doing anyway.

Has anyone managed to find a good uk based supplier for PCV's suitable for Turbo applications? I am intrigued why the Supra one is such a popular choice, why wouldn't the PCV from any reasonable turbo car other than say VAG (they use huge!) work?

My car is running 15PSI and i am not convinced the standard PCV is doing its job.

What happens if you don't actually have the valve in place and simply had an outlet to filter like Rob?

Just vent it to atmosphere and then block the inlet side?
