Have you tried depressing the clutch whilst holding the revs at 1250 and holding the switch down for 30 seconds?
How accurate does it have to be at 1250 because it's not working.

Maybe we should help the poor guy a little more as he seems to be desperate.

Here's a better hint for you Wayne . You'll need to answer the old poll too. We just want to make sure that you'll remember the passenger window thing the next time.
Wow! Now don't I feel the fool! Lmao

Guys can I ask we keep this between us!? It's a little embarrassing you see!

Stupid switch! Now reading back through your first comments they all make rational sense!
Well we could keep mum, but its already been posted on 17 different forums and facebooked to the whole world.

WE all do twat things from time to time, like when I filled up at a motorway services, reset both trips, got on my way and thought a few mins later "FECK I DIDN'T KNOW I WAS GOING THAT FAST!!!"

I think I would have been caught out by this if I hadn't had the same switch on my '89 MR2... that had no label on the switch whatsoever and I didn't have an owners manual!

As soon as I saw this thread appear I thought
