Currently it doesn't sound like it's a dispute in my mind. So I'd recommend letting it lie and just selling the house. Problem solved. I wouldn't normally recommend that course of action, but if he's moving anyway...

Easy, get a bunch of people and bounce move the car away, few of you on each wheel arch and bounce the car. can be moved to the other side of the road to the neighbours house or just in the middle of the road so the cops can move it as abandond.

Only move the car slightly away from the kerb, enough so it's technically not parked, the lawyers will hopefully tell you what that distance is. The best bit about this one is that it's more subtle and if you don't get caught may make him think he's going mad.

Are you all a bunch of psycho's or what - he's parking legally in the street and you pretty much want to fire bomb his car - are you the same people who want to kill people who accidentally ding car doors???
It sounds like this has a lot more to do with your Dad's relationship with his neighbour than the rights/wrongs of where to park.

I agree with Chilled... don't let it escalate - sell the place and forget about it...
Where I live (a small hamlet) most of the resident shave had a run in with the old guy who,lives next door to us (he's miserable old git). I can't say I like the guy but we don't do anything which we think will antagonise him, we pass the time of day and that's it... we've had no problems at all.

No matter how annoying it is I guess anyone who pays road tax has a right to park legally on a road (as long as its within the rules drop kerb/road markings etc).
Since your dad is moving anyway maybe its better to just put up with it a bit longer until the house is sold and he can move away from the said jerk.

Fully appreciate that it's bloody annoying, but as has been said if it is parked legally there is nothing you can do.
Get your dad to move, or park another vehicle in that spot so they can't use it.
