Well - I have just sold my EU import to a dealer. When it was for sale on here a few people enquired and did not seem put of by the fact that it is an import - but that is probably because they know what that means. The dealer did give me less becasue it was an import - but then I paid less so no harm there. If I actually work out my original saving compared to a UK priced car - and the part ex that I would of got etc then I was actually better of with the import - and the cars the same.
My thoughts - buying UK is easier for re-sale...for some reason when you tell people it is an import they think it is dodgy - but if you intend to keep the car for a long time then you might just as well go for an import.
Happy motoring either way :-)

Pro's
- Exclusive models not brought in by distributor e.g. Skyline, previous EVOs.
- Better options on the same car compared to those sold by the distributor.
Con's
- Possible warranty issues.
- Lower re-sale value.

If the car is less than 3 years old then it's not the dealer bullshitting you to lower the price - there will be a price difference.
You might just be lucky - or one hell of a negotiator - but I do not know anyone who has had an import and not got less money in a part exchange as a UK car. Makes sense doesn't it ??? You pay less for it so get less back - otherwise everyone would be importing cars.

Although I like the VX, I don't think that I can handle leaving S2k ownership. The force is strong. Problem is, if I get a new s2k then I want an 04.
Noticed that hondas.co.uk have 04 silverstones with red for
