painting my calipers
I'm gonna be up grading all my disks and pads and was thinking about painting all of the calipers, my00 is silverstone met and not sure wether to go with red or silver, what do you all think. I'd like to replace them all with brembos but cant afford it....

I'd go for black or gunmetal on a Silverstone.

IMHO, the red caliper paint looks really naff - too bright and orangy looking. I recently helped my mate paint the calipers on his M3 (totally rusted on an 02) with really good results. Om my advice, he bought two packs - one red and one black. I mixed a tiny bit of black into the red tin to give it a nice blood red similar to the brembos - looks very

I did mine and it was either red or black, did the red first as i wasnt too sure so could always do again in black. I liked the red so its stayed.

Black ....... anything else looks naff.
I used Savage Caliper Paint. It is good stuff and only required a single coat.
