Default Which Pads?

Its time for new pads but im wondering whether to go with Red Stuff again or use the brakes international ones.

Is there really that much difference in performance?

I had red stuff and i like em so far, not tried brakes int..

Have you looked at project mu? Im thinking of trying them on my next set of pads.

Never tried Red Stuff - heard mixed reviews. As for difference I can't say, never tried the other brake compaound either.

It's likely there will be a difference but I suppose whether it is worth it is dependant on the application in question - Are you going to be tracking it, fast road driving, just cruising etc etc.

I have tried various brake pads and settled on Mintex 1144/55 (C-Tech now).

I'm sure others on here will mention about Ferodo DS range too.

I do think there are enough choice and option of domestic stuff as to not go for the JDM pads and save yourself some money

Red Stuff are very hard on the discs, as are most 'performance' pads.
If the cost of replacing the metal is an issue you may like to think about that first.
I used DS2500 on my Scoob with great results but then the brakes on the classic were poor anyhow. The stock S2000 pulls up WAY quicker even though the weight is nearly the same.

New EBC discs and Red Stuff pads about a month ago....very pleased so far
