There's another video of "circuit mode" with a much faster change. Apparently something like $20,000 according to the thread I found.

Why do they always make these things so that the paddles don't turn with the wheel (like they do on F1 cars)?

Because if you got confused mid corner and hit down instead of up leaving your engine in lots of pieces

I think you're more likely to be confused by finding the change down lever is now under your right hand when changing up mid corner.

And anyway, if it's clever, it won't let you change down and cause an over-rev.

WHY?! The S has possible the worlds finest manual gearbox (fact) so why the **** would you want to change it to a paddle shift?????????????!!!

The road speed doesnt seem to look as fast as the sound suggests, it is definitely a real video?

Flappy paddle Schmappy paddle

To me the pleasure is in changing gear; heelNtoe-ing; I'm likley slower with a manual (especially with my shoddy technique ) but at least I feel involved and get a warm feeling when I get it spot on.

Deffo with you on this Jim

I say Get a proper H-Patter shifetr and clutch pedal (really heavy one ) back into F1 cars Oh and take the wings off them as well In fact, just make them race in replicas from the late 60's That'd sort the men from the boys
