P1399, P301 etc Misfire.. Mine seems to have gone!
Some of you may remember but I was getting a CEL come on almost every day. The codes were a combination of P1399, P301-304, P300.
They were all happening at 'low load' eg town cruising. Never from high or mid load eg VTEC.
I was advised allsorts and was following the manual in troubleshooting the issue. I personally though it was a fueling problem.
After driving 15 laps of the nurburgring the problem was still there though it appeared less often. This was probably to be expected as the car was doing less 'low load' driving even when on the surrounding roads.
However my battery was old and my car is a weekend London toy so it gets a hard life. It decided to die on me. Since I've replaced it I've not had the CEL come on at all. I've done about 400miles of 'low load' driving and about 10 trips.
I posted this in the under the hood forum but I got a bit flamed for not cleaning injectors and basically following the troublshooting guide. However I'm a bit reluctant to change bits now as the car is faultless.
Thought this might be of interest to anyone with this annoying problem. I'll post again if my situation changes. It could be a result of 'blowing out' the injectors after hard driving or the battery, my hunch is the battery.

Batteries are funny things but it seems a bit odd. When the engine is running the battery is charging so you've got a fairly constant supply voltage to the ECU as it's being looked after by the regulator. Still the sun's shining and if it ain't broke then don't fix it.
