God, that would be dreadful for me. I oversleep so often I'd run out of petrol in two days

That i would agree with so i guess the rest is down to good old opinion again but i know i will be looking where i park more carefully over the darker nights...
i would feel more than a bit peeved if i lost four years worth of no claims because of said scroates, yes the insurance will pick it up but you're gonna pay for it in the long run if they do.
Good luck.

And because they get away with it more often than not the situation just worsens. No matter how far you go you can't win ultimately. My car got broken into on my drive. Did anyone care my alarm was going off? No, otherwise I would have been greeted by the police when I got home instead of having to wait until I climb into my car to realise the stereo, etc was all gone and then wait 3 hours for someone to come out. I had to fork out up front for that as they said my insurance wasn't valid because the car wasn't secure!
Now I just don't worry about it because if I did I may as well not own the damn thing.
So whilst I understand why you would carry out various things to try an minimise risk, I just think it's rather fruitless.

He'll have a job getting that claim through.

[QUOTE=billybiker,Nov 15 2005, 12:38 PM] As I don't need to use my car to go to work it gets left in the garage unless I'm driving it!
And even then its locked, covered, alarmed and the garage has a door sensor and movement sensor as part of the house alarm.
I suppose its a bit sad in that if we are going anywhere dodgy I take my wifes old car which is now 13 and probably worth about
