I'm not sure whether to bother with this...........my dealer is quoting

Depends how punctilious you want to be. For my money, not worth it. I doubt that it will have much impact at all, if any, on resale.

in an ideal world I might do it but the way things in IT are going at the moment I'm trying to avoid any unnecessary expense

Can't be that difficult doing it yourself I don't suppose.....anyone changed the oil themselves?

I think my dealer in Weybridge (if you don't know this is where lots of stars live) reckons everyone is minted and can afford silly prices
