Did some searches on wind noise last night and had a look at the TSBs but didn

I think I recall there being some slotted screw fixings on the latch (the part attached to the soft top), attach the soft top in place with the latches then adjust these to suit.

If you still have problems then plastic around the A pillar can be removed and you may find a bolt missing on the sriker plate, id recommend some thread lock and a new bolt if one has fallen down the A pillar. I believe this is fairly common due to the vibration.

Its also worth adding some silicone spray along the seal where the soft top meets the top of the screen

seeing as yours is an 05 you shouldn't have the wear problem so the catches there is obviously a problem that exists from from when the car was built. i would suggest the dealer as there is no adjustment on the strikers or the latches, hence people changing the strikers left to right or for new ones.

I may need to get my latches replaced at some stage, anyone know the part numbers? I have a MY00

Dont know the numbers ,try doing a search for JDM ones though theres was chat of them awhile ago
