Popped into the nick earlier today and apparently they have arrested someone in connection with the incident. Could not get any more details than that, but the team that dealt with it is on earlys over the weekend so they will be investigating further then.
On the car front, still waiting for a quote but the garage thinks it is repairable.
It certainly won't be me that will be driving it if it is repaired, thats for sure!
PS Not sure about my neck injury, but my whip is in the back of the Fiesta and I'm just out on the lash!

Hi Lisa,
The arrest is some good news, anyway.
If it's any help with the car, a mate did a sort of similar thing to his new Mini (turning right). BMW px'd it in damaged condition against a used Z3 and put him on a shortlist for a Z4.
Happy lashing,

14 years....Blimey.
I'd assumed they'd be stopped from watching Celebrity Saddoes for a couple of weeks, or something.
Thought you only got that for multiple murder or a minor fraud against a Government Agency.
Guess there's no sentencing consistency anymore.

Oh my god, I am so sorry Lisa. I haven't been logging on much lately and when I do I see this. I hope that you are ok. I remember when some one drove into me and then drove off. It sucks big time. Don't really know what else to say apart from hope the insurance comes through ok and let's hope the police catch them - people like that should have to serve time for endangering lives.

Hi Penny - long time no hear.
The police are still 'investigating' the incident so I just have to be patient and wait to see if I'm going to lose my no-claims etc etc. To be honest though, I'm not holding my breath for a result.
WRT the car (most of you who were at SM3 already know this) - I went and saw it Friday morning and had a chat with the garage. They've stripped it down and it looks like it is repairable, but the current cost is
