Default one for the electrical boffins!

one for the electrical boffins!!! when arming/disarming the alarm only the driver side front and back indicators flash, I have tested the alarm and all is o.k, and if I put the hazards on all works fine. any ideas?? also one more thing I have never been able to open the boot with the key fob but have another key fob that is different that came with the car that just locks and opens the car and also works on the boot, seen the topic on how you should be able to use the main key fob by pressing the button again within 3secs but don't work?
Thanks

no it has 3 buttons on it one large one with a pic of a pad lock closed two small ones, one with pic of pad lock open and the other has a pic off car with boot open, and has Honda on it, none off the buttons flash the lights but locks and opens doors and boot, the stock key fob only has two one raised and one indented.
