Not so much the suspension but the "new" position of the bumper and shape of wheel arch could result in it hitting the tyre if I hit a bump or something at high speed.
To adjust the "new" position of the wheel arch to give more clearance.

Oh I see, on the existing, damaged one.

Sorry, I thought you meant get them to do something on the new one, like roll the arch or something.

Might well do that, yeah. I'm clobbering something on speedbumps too that sounds like the bottom of the bumper scraping but it doesn't seem low enough

Sorry, should have been clearer - I wouldn't recommend taking a hammer to your new arch!!

Sorry to hear that Mr B. Had a roundabout incident in Reading just over two years ago with a cab, finally got resolved last week! I hope the resolution for you is much quicker, glad to hear you have a witness so that should help.

Lee.

Was weird out driving today. I felt almost paranoid. Presumably that will pass but I didn't feel at all comfortable.

I'm sure this is some psychological thing anyone who's been involved in a prang is familiar with.

I know how you feel, when I had my accident, the driver who caused it drove off, no witness came forward and CCTV not recording.
Traded the S for CIVIC IMA, because the insurance will go to 2K if I keep the S, and I only drove it 3 months in 12 last year.

Damage on photos looks like body only, new wing, new inner lining and front possibly.
Good luck G

There is my old 2002 MCB S2K for sale at Newton Honda in Croydon for 15,995.

Sorry to hear about that

I'm sure it'll be sorted soon.

Main thing is that you're OK

Thanks

Was much better today - drove down to Southampton for the Spitfire flypast.

Handling felt ok and I took my time on the motorway before getting up to "normal" cruising speeds. Seems fine. It'll be going on the geo rig once the bodywork's done though, just to be sure. Talking of which, can someone remind me - was it "default" rather than "optimum" settings that are generally held to be the btter bet?

Also presumably any issues with the bushes can be checked at the same time?

Managed to pull the arch into a slightly better shape cheers Dan

Into the dealer for the assessor on Tuesday and we'll take it from there.
